About the Artist

Tony Wild (b. 1975) is an Australian abstract artist working primarily with oil and cold wax. His practice centres on surface, structure, and the quiet tension between control and collapse.

Based in Sydney, Tony creates large-scale, textured works built through compression, layering, and reduction. His paintings draw on weathered surfaces and industrial decay, using materiality as a way to explore memory, change, and emotional residue.

Tony is represented by SIBU Gallery and releases a small number of original works and limited editions each year.
